At the 2018 Winnipeg Theatre Awards (The Evies), Deserter has been nominated for 5 awards, winning OUTSTANDING DESIGN as well as OUTSTANDING SUPPORTING ACTOR! The design team for this production includes:

Emma Hendrix (sound design/composition), jaymez (lighting design) and Brenda McLean (set design).
